The only question I have is why would he give this guy the roast beef instead of making him eat the peanut butter sandwich that his kid didn’t want? But putting that question aside, it’s nice to see Mo get some more screentime.Īfter the commercial break, Ernie asks Kayce for help with a new neighbor who won’t let him drive his cattle on an easement that goes through his land. Apparently, he still has that guy from the casino tied up on his property. We get a brief glimpse of Mo’s home life before he heads out to work. After how she stuck by him in the hospital, it’s really hard to blame her for feeling this way. Mias’ fed up with Jimmy and how he chose to stay under the Dutton Ranch’s thumb rather than start a life with her. I think this is setting up for the “Yellowstone” spinoff that takes place in Texas called “6666.” It’s going to premiere sometime after the other spinoff “1883,” but this one will be concurrent with “Yellowstone” timeline-wise. Jimmy tells Mia that he’s being sent to a ranch in Texas. Rip doesn’t have much sympathy for Lloyd’s complaints and tells him to leave his pride behind when it comes to Walker. Lloyd’s unhappy with it, but Rip says it has to be done. It’s a sweet moment.īack at the bunkhouse, Jimmy’s being sent away. He wants to enjoy time on the field with his dad, since he doesn’t know how much longer they’ll be around to enjoy this together. John rides out to find Kayce waiting for him. I like how John’s already accepting him as part of Rip’s family. Carter is there before him, cleaning the stalls. The next scene begins with John heading out to ride his horse like he does every morning now. Sadly for everyone, there's still two weeks before the season finale airs on August 18.And with that short but intense opening, we jump right into the intro video. The good news: You can already stream the first six episodes (run, don't walk!), and the remaining two are set to be released weekly on Fridays at 12:00 am ET. While the first season's episodes were dropped all at once, making the show *ultra* binge-worthy, season 2's episodes are dropped weekly, with the exception of the three-episode premiere on July 14. What could it mean? When are new episodes released? Something interesting: The word "summer" is included in each title of season 1's episodes, while the word "love" is in all of season 2's episode titles. Yes! Episode 6 dropped on August 4, and there are still two more episodes coming down the pipeline. (Relatable!)Īnd that's it on the plot, so far. Episode 6 ends with Belly drunkenly calling her mom crying after a conversation with Conrad. To celebrate their last night there, they throw a rager, where things get a *bit* messy. Eventually, the brothers team up with Skye and try everything to try to get Aunt Julia to change her mind-but eventually, the house is sold. Julia is joined by their cousin, Skye, who they've been estranged from due to family drama between their mothers. Belly and Conrad have weird unresolved tension, and Jeremiah is just waiting for his chance to swoop in. The crew returns to the beach house after Susannah's death and have to deal with the fact that Susannah's sister, Aunt Julia (Kyra Sedgwick), has moved all of Susannah's things out and plans to sell the property. Spoiler alert! The first episode picks back up the fall after Belly and Conrad officially begin dating long-distance, and flashes back and forth with the current summer, after they've (spoiler!) broken up, and Susannah has died. So, when are the next episodes going to be released?! Here's what to know. If you simply *must* know what happens next, you've still got some time before the final episodes drop.
